My Glory Days Are Not Over Yet
The results for the last exams are out today. I’ve been grumbling to as many people as I could about the horrible mathematics subject I had to take. And about how I just don’t seem to have the talent for converting common sense into mathematical statements. Basically, I just plain suck at discrete mathematics.
For the past month while I’ve been enjoying my holidays, meeting up with people and tearing big holes in my wallet, there’s always this gnawing feeling around that annoyingly seems to read “Bye, your high distinction streak is over!”
Well guess what? Hah! It’s not! I just made it to a high distinction barely. 85 was the borderline mark for that grade. I got an 86!
I love the brilliant subject coordinator who smacked on a 70% weightage for the examinations. While almost everyone grumbled, I was secretly happy and smiling. Life is unfair indeed! But thank heavens for these moments, so long as I’m the one benefiting. -smirks-
